Today we will be talking about sprummer. Particularly what foundation works best for sprummer. sprummer is the time for neon shadows, deep bronzers and gold highlights to shine. Sadly, our little foundation buddies tend to have a hard time suring sprummer. Sprummer: Spring and summer. I wanted to introduce a beloved foundation combination for sprummer that I have been using religiously, for lack of a better term. This combination consists of the Guerlain "Météorites Baby Glow Sheer Liquid Foundation" in shade 2 "light" and the L'Oreal "Infallible pro-matte 24-hour foundation" in shade 103 "natural buff." The Guerlain foundation is too light for my skin tone in the sprummer time, and the L'Oreal foundation is too dark for me in the winter. When mixed together, they give me my perfect shade. Sometimes if I am a little darker I will just use more parts of the L'Oreal foundation and vice versa with the Guerlain if I am a little more pale. What makes this combination such a hit for me is the mixing of the finishes. The Guerlain foundation is definitely on the dewy side. While, as the title tells us, the L'Oreal foundation is pro- matte. The Guerlain foundation adds just enough sheerness and dewy-ness to the pro-matte foundation which leaves the mixture to apple flawlessly on the face. The pro-matte foundation also ensures that your foundation lasts the entire day. When I use this combination, i rarely have to touch it up. I will touch it up once 3 quarters of the way through the day or night and it will be perfect! This duo helps me through the humidity and uncomfortable heat that we get blasted with every year. I find with other foundations they tend to just melt off in a couple of hours. This is definitely a long lasting solution!
